Yes, the conference should be fun. We get a VIP tour of Graceland - I'm really hoping Elvis will be there! :-)
We usually get quite a bit of face time with John Baker, D2L's president, at the conference but the lawsuit saga continues and they have to be in court on Monday & Tuesday of the conference. But at least we should get good updates while we're there.
Yes, he is Ralph, the King of the Cats! That is exactly what we call him! (although in a little try to the vet last week, he actually lost his kitty manhood). :-)
I had forgotten that D2L Fusion was in Memphis this year - that should be fun! I've been to a couple of conferences in Memphis and it's got some fun stuff to do there downtown.
I keep getting various bits of propaganda from D2L in publicity emails about how they are so web2.0 friendly, and it really cracks me up: since they have no RSS notifications for anything except the blog tool, and the blog only gives the title in the RSS with a password-protected link, I think they may provoke the ire of the web2.0 gods by claiming to be so filled with web2.0 goodness, ha ha. :-)
Hi Anita!!! We'll see what develops here... I am optimistic! (Well, you know me, simultaneously optimistic and cynical, too, ha ha.) I hope your summer is going well - are you escaping somewhere for Fourth of July? Andy and I are sticking around here for the holiday weekend - a cat just adopted us a couple of weeks ago, and he has us completely trained at the moment to cater to his every whim! :-)
